While many people are "Waiting for Superman", I would rather play "The Lottery". I suggest that on your next movie night you rent this documentary which presents an interesting, national perspective on the topic of public education. The Lottery is an eye-opening film which intertwines commentary from prominent figures with the personal stories of parents who are struggling to provide quality, educational options for their children. Especially moving stories from two of the fathers' in the movie may bring tears to your eyes, so keep your Kleenex nearby.
